... in a very male dominated field and I absolutely loved this book

I am an active duty military career woman in a very male dominated field and I absolutely loved this book!!!! I've always had a problem with not being able to separate being an alpha female at work and an alpha female at home. While dating, I always ended up with 2 different kinds of guys, the alpha male (which I very much liked but there always seemed to be a lot of conflict with) or the beta man, which I honestly can not seem to find any respect for. Either way, I think this book might touch a nerve with a lot of women but I like to feel taken care of by a strong man and if you can't find a way to LET him do that then as an alpha female you'll just need to settle for a beta. Hope this will also be helpful for my fellow sisters looking for the same thing!

I'm a male and yes I read the book. I thought it would help me understand my wife as I knew she was an Alpha and it absolutely did just that. Now to get her to read it.

Even though my marriage isn't falling apart, it's hit a bump where I've been trying to evaluate what we could do to make things better. I ran across this title and it resonated with me, as I am certainly an Alpha female.
It's easy to find blame in all the other things, theres a thousand reasons why you are irritated and stressed out and put your relationship on the back burner. It's good to remember it's not always all about what you want. Women tend to sacrifice for our jobs, for our families and for our children. We need to sacrifice for husbands and in turn we will have what we desire, a doting loving husband who feels wanted and appreciated.
After reading this through, as I am sure I will read it many more times, I realize my marital problems are within my grasp to change. My poor husband hah. Im going to work hard to put all of the information to good use and bring a healthy balance back in to our home!
